Blake Bagget came into the final round ready to finish the season strong. He launched out of the gate in his heat race rounding the first turn in third place. Blake wouldn’t let the daytime heat get to him, as he kept the pressure on Zack Osborne for second place until a mistake at the end of a rhythm section slid him back a few spots. The SoCal SuperTrucks backed rider would hold his pace and cross the finish line in 5th place to transfer to the main event. Blake would get pinched at the start of the main event, nearly being collected into a first turn pile up to start deep in the pack in 15th . He would not find his grove on the slick, dried out track, crossing the finish line in 16th place.

Benny Bloss came into the last round feeling good. After posting the 5th fastest time in qualifying, Benny rounded the first turn in his heat race at the tail end of the top ten. He soon found himself battling his way forward and crossed the finish line in 7th place to take a spot in the main event. Benny started 5th in main event and quickly moved to 4th. He ran 4th and by half way mark and had closed in on Dean Wilson to battle for 3rd.  Right as he made a move to close onto Wilson’s rear wheel, Benny would go down in a rhythm section. He would remount in 6th place behind Eli Tomac and find his pace there.  Unfortunately as the track quickly deteriorated, Benny would go down in a slippery bowl turn and spent some time trying to remount.  Though the overall finishing position shows a number in the back half, Bloss certainly proved to himself that he has the natural speed needed to make the podium, and now gets to carry that momentum into the Outdoors.

The team will now take a break and prepare for the 2020 Pro Motocross Outdoor Championship, which will start on July 18th at Ironman MX in Crawfordsville, IN.
