Blake Baggett

Blake Baggett brought the heat inside the US Bank Stadium and raced at the front all night. Right from the start, Blake was on the gas as he overcame a mid-pack start in main event one to battle for position just outside the top five. He rode strong and took 6th place. Blake launched out of the gate in main event two leading the field into turn one. He didn’t let off through the race, keeping it at the front and being rewarded with 5th place. In the third and final main event, Blake powered down the inside and once again started up at the front. At the midpoint of the race, he ran into an issue that dropped him to the tail end of the field. Never one to quit, Blake continued to charge back through the field for a 12th place finish. His 6-5-12 score placed him in 8th overall on the night.

“I am happy with how I rode tonight,” said Baggett. “My starts were there all night, and I had the track dialed. It was unfortunate I had an issue in the last race as we were in contention for a top five tonight. I’m looking forward to bouncing back next weekend in Foxboro.”

Benny Bloss

Benny Bloss showed speed all night. In main event one, Benny worked his way through the field, battling into a 10th place finish. After a 14th place finish in main event two, Benny came back strong in the third and final main event. He hit his marks every lap, working his way inside the top ten to finish in 8th place. His 10-14-8 score placed him 11th overall on the night.

In the 250SX class, Anthony Rodriguez was back in action and looked very fast on the Minneapolis track. In the first main event, he overcame a mid-pack start as he carved his way through the field to a 6th place finish. Main event two didn’t start off well. After being pushed off the track at the start, Anthony put on a charge from the back of the field to 11th. He timed the gate perfectly at the start of the final main event and rounded the first turn in second place. Never letting up, Anthony kept the pace and put in another solid 6th place ride. His 6-11-6 score placed him 5th overall on the night, his best finish of the season thus far.
